I downloaded a movie that is made up of 5 .mdf files, i.e. TITLE.mds, TITLE.mdf, TITLE.md0, TITLE.md1, etc. In order to burn to DVD, do the files need to be joined to one file, such as .iso? I discovered a program called "Split & Concat", which will join and split... but it apparently only joins the first 2 files (the 3rd, 4th files are ignored). Or can I simply drop all the files in Toast and burn without actually "joining" them??

thanks, I actually read that before I posted this. The problem I'm having is that "Split & Concat" will only join the first 2 files.. the rest of the 3 or 4 files are ignored. Any other ideas??

Copy the files to a windows pc and burn with alcohol 120,thats what splits the files that way.

yes, I renamed the files to read:
File.iso.001
File.iso.002
File.iso.003
File.iso.004
etc.. but it only takes the first 2 files and joins those. As I said, it ignores the rest of the files. Has anyone else had luck joining more than 2 files? Is Split & Concat capable of doing so, or maybe I'm just doing something wrong?? -
yes, but mostly with pieces properly downloaded and have passed a hash check.
Were these files part of an .rar archive originally?
if not, are you sure they were downloaded correctly?
if 3 and 4 are bieng ignored, chances are they are
incomplete and not passing a hash check...."Everyone has to learn, so that they can one day teach."

The files need to be burned by alcohol 120!!!Simple as that.

does Alcohol 120 simply merge the files into one .ISO, so that I may drop it into a program like Toast? or does it actually burn all the files itself (TITLE.mds, TITLE.mdf, TITLE.md0, TITLE.md1), directly to DVD?
Thanks! -
All the files will be burned to one dvd by alcohol as long as the file names are what alcohol named them, dont think it will merge them to a single iso.
