I have been trying to create an audio dvd and have searched the forums for tutorials on the subject, I thought I found one but seemed to lose it. I am familar with the app called Audio DVD Creator and another called Apollo Audio DVD Creator but I'd like to do it from scratch if it is possible.
My standalone dvd player supports mp3 format and DTS, DD2, I have also tried formatting music files to 48,000khz (the dvd standard I mean) with 192kbps using ac3 formatted audio files when I burn those to dvd using nero and also tried to burn it as a data disc to no avail. ( I have read something to the effect of placing a small video along with the audio files on the disc but lost the post . I think I read it here on VideoHelp.com) If theres someone that could enlighten me on this . ( Which encoder or authoring program would enable me to do this?)Thanks Much [/b]

I can now do this with GUI for DVDAuthor, although I have bought a new Home Entertainment System that can play mp3's that I have burned to a dvd disc. Thanks for all the help.

I did mine with TMPGenc Plus 2.5 and TDA. Use a rediculously low video bitrate and encode the audio to mpeg. The songs show a black screen when playing but the DVD will run all day. I made the menu with TDA including album and song titles.
