Ok I ripped some scenes from dvd's useing dvdshrink. Now I want to put them on one dvd with a simple menu. Seems Tmgenc DvD Author works the best. But for some reason it says this dvd's bitrate is to high on title 1. Doesn't matter if I remove title one and replace it with a different scene it says the same. I ignored it twice and ended up with unreadable discs.

Every other program out there loads the files fine and burns them fine and they play fine. I don't understand why tmpgence is giving me these errors, they come straight from disc that plays fine in my standalone and was straight ripped no encoding etc. It's just the other programs won't load up my whole scene it will split them at each VOB and make a like 3 preview screens on the menu. I only need one for each scene. Tmpgenc tells me I need to reauthor them which is crazy the play fine in a standolone. Not one other programs has given me these issues about the dvd bitrate being to high etc. And it only complains about title 1. I could switch title 2 to title 1. It would still says title one bitrate is to high non compliant dvd blah blah.

Can anyone recommned a good program for me to use for this that is simple like Tmpgenc but does throw out these errors that I'm expircening. Thanks

Some encoders do not correctly write the bitrate into the mpg header. Tmpgenc doesn't actually check the bitrate, it just reads the header, and sometimes gets it wrong. Extract the mpg from the VOBs using VOB2MPG, then rewrite the header with a lower bitrate value using DVD Patcher or ReStream.
