Ok I am making a comp and I've got all of the video material on my hard drive. I used DVD Shrink and cut the scenes that I want to use and they are in individual folders on my hard drive. I want to use Ulead DVD MovieFactory 5 for creating my menu. I've used the program several times and liked the results. However I'm having a problem with my current creation. When I import the DVD folders the program acts like normal but it will not import the entire video file. It will cut off the video at some point and its not all there. Its happening about 1 out of every 10 files I'd guess. When I view the videos using Power DVD the entire scene is there. I guess the problem is with Ulead DVD MovieFactory 5 but I'm not sure.
Has anyone ever seen this problem before? What did you do to fix it? I was thinking I'd look into re-encoding the Vob file and see if that fixes it but I'm not sure how to do that. I've converted files from one format to another but never to the same format and honestly I'd like to do this as a last resort because I don't want to loss any quality but if the problem is my video files then I'll do what I have to do. Unfortuantly there isn't another source for the video that I can use because I'm using old hime movies for this project.
Any help is appreciated! Thanks
