    When I use ConvertXtoDvD to convert an avi file to DVD I receive this error "DirectX preview is not available (filter not installed)" and I can't see what I'm converting. What culd be the problem,pls?

    The quick fix is to reinstall ConvertXtoDVD. Apparently some third party dx filters can cause this to happen. On the plus side, since very early on in development ConvertXtoDVD has been able to successfully convert even when the preview is not functioning. K-lite is known to cause this problem

    You probably don't have an Mpeg2 codec installed?
