Tmpgenc DVD Author & Bevels

I have been playing around with Divx Author and I know that Tmpgenc worked with Divx to design the program. I have been using the text effects quite abit and I am wondering if the Bevel Function actually does anything. Whenever I apply it, the text seems unchanged. Adding borders, shadows, ect., bring noticable changes.

I am curious what others think of the bevel function. I think Bevels are suppose to bring a 3D Effect to the letters.

The bevel effect works for me, but I must admit that it's not the best bevel effect I've seen. You can't change the color of the bevel effect, and there's no shadow to the bevel, only highlights. If you're using it on a white or light colored background (or have white text), then that might be the reason you can't see it.

You may also not be able to see it if the "Size" value is set too high. Set the size to a lower value and you should be able to see the effect.
