Hi,
I am trying to demux audio from an AVI file. I open it in VurtualDubMod. There is only one stream. I create uncomppressed WAV file. When I play back the WAV file, there is only soundtrack (music) but no voices.
I tried to demux ac3 file instead of WAV but cannot play it at all. Then I opened it in ac3fix and it was showing "Wrong Frame length" all the way. After ac3fix fixed the file, I cannot play it either.
How can I fix the problem? What tool to use? Thank you.

Try demux with avimuxgui instead or use Goldwave to convert to wav, open avi and save as wav (you need ac3 decoder installed like ac3 filter).

Baldrick, thank you!
I tried Goldwave and it worked from the very first try.
I am a little confused that the tool most of us use every day, I mean VirtualDubMod, cannot do the same. Why?
