Use Virtualdub to cut those big files into approximately 2 hours length. Here is how to do it

    https://www.videohelp.com/guides.php?guideid=115#115
    More Virtualdub guides here:

Then try to load those smaller files into Vegas for editing.
Do not use Winamp for video preview.
Use any of VLC, MPC, KMPlayer, GOM player...all freeware.

Your pc specs show's two hard drive's ... I suspect you have been trying to split and save the file without using some form of video / audio compression in vdub , to the same drive the original clip is currently stored , which is why your running into this current problem .

You have to remember that the system preserve's a particular amount of drive space for some feature's ... the swap file space , recycle bin , and restore point .

You could trim back the default recycle bin ... it's most likely stuck on system default equal to around 10% of the drive's maximum partition space ... and use some form of compression when using vdub ... if you want to use sony product ... double check on what it support's as input ... you wouldn't want to compress the clip into a codec that it dosent , or has issue's with ... now would you .

Not forgetting , you should possibly be sending and storing the edit's on the second drive ... space permitting of course .

I think he's telling you, you're running out of Hard Drive real estate, (space)...
with possible reasons why, and giving some methods of reclaiming some of it.

Also, maybe try saving that vid to some "Lossless" codec too.
