  1. I recently am having problems with my JVC player rejecting my DVD's that it played before,
    it says no disc. any help would be great!

    If they are commercial discs, then the player is faulty. If they are copies, then you have bad discs. Most likely cheap media, or a media that the player doesn't like.

  3. The disc are Verbatim 16xDVD-r
    I have had very good luck with the disc in the past, do you think I need to change?

    You can try looking up your player in the DVD Players section and see what brand/types of media other have had success using.

    Other than that, I would try a different brand/type of media. Verbatim are usually reliable, so it could be you have/had a bad spindle. It is also possible your player is at fault. The laser loses power with age/use and the first discs to suffer are recordable discs.
