JVC DR MV-7 reading problems after hacking

Hi,
I live in Brazil but I bought in the USA a JVC DR MV-7 COMBO dvd recorder.
I read the forum

Region code hack posted by Vici, September 07 2007:
Region Hack for this player is the same as LG RC797T.
Go to and get all information.

Next:
--Power on the player and load the CD-ROM
--In a few moments a text box appears displaying current DVD region and a second line to change DVD region
--Press "0" with the remote for "Region free"
--Press "Enter" on the remote control
--In a few seconds the player will eject the disc. Remove the CD-ROM from the tray and power off.

Upon powering on the player plays all regions(tested) but Macrovision still remains.

AND tried to get a free region player but now my jvc is a mess.
After I used the CD-ROM I burned with the instructions above, my player does not recognize any DVD but the ones I can buy at the store. Burned DVDS it does not play anymore.
I tried to find the file RMTM0000.sit in tne internet but I could not find it, just RMTM0000.
PLease anybody can help me ?
Forget about region free, all I want is my DVD as it was before.
Reading my burned DVDS.
JVC here in Brazil, they dont fix USA models.
I cant afford sending it to JVC in the USA.
Is there any way I can fix this?
What is the problem? Firmware? Eprom? or it is just damaged?
