    hi
    i can not find any program which will allow me to merge(join) 2 mpeg files with ac3 (6channel) without reencoding which are mpegs from my sony dvd-r camcorder dcr-403

    tmpgenc dvd author reads those files to be authored but i can can not merge 2 files or i do not know how

    Did you add the files to the same track in TDA and what is the total file size (if less 1024MB, you could use the output VOB from the authored folder)?
    Try also TMPGEnc MPEG Editor or VideoReDo.

    @deejay.2001 Project-X can concatenate different MPEG-File with AC3-tracks provided they have the same recording parameters, the only disadvantage is that the output is a pure video-m2v-file and an AC3-file which you have to remux e.g. with TMPGEnc to have a merged MPEG-program-file.
