I've heard that if you buy a DVD Writer in a diferent region than where your computer was bought, you will have conflicting hardware... and you must use cracks or similars to overcome this problem....
For example if you buy a DVD Writer in Germany and use it in a brazillian Computer, will there be any hardware problems/conflicts ?
I know only of recording problems that are affected by DVD Regions...
Anyone know anything ?
Insight apreciated !

You can change the region setting 5 times, then you are stuck with the last one. But there are programs that get around that issue. There are several avialabe in our 'Tools' under 'DVD Rip Tools': https://www.videohelp.com/tools?s=7#7
The region setting is in Control Panel>System>Hardware>Device Manager' then look in the 'Properties' for your DVD drive.
And welcome to our forums. -
