1st: Make sure you have your pass-thru cable plugged into "Line In" on the card, and select "Line In" under the Windows Recording volume control too.

2nd: Sound Blaster Live card... with what OS? Perhaps drivers are not correct?...

  3. Hey, I have the same problem. The thing is, you cannot just plug the SB Live into the ATI AIW, because the passthrough on the ATI AIW is a different connector than the one on the sound card. Right now I'm using the microphone jack and it sounds like ****. I'm gonna see if there's a special cable u can buy.

  4. line out from the AIW is plugged into the line in
of the card. The fact is that at the beginning while
installing stuff it works, then (but cannot figure out what it is) while drivers are added.. the sound out of the aiw does not work.

Os is XP but did it also under Me

ATI support suck a big way also..they were never able to give me an answer as if my hardware was a outer space config
