I want to buy a USB 2 4 port speed hub and use it for flashdrives or SD card reader. Do I need a power hub for this? I'm asking because the last time I used a power hub it caused massive interference on the radio in the room. Also, could I have all 4 ports in use at the same time?

If you're only using flash drives & SD card reader, you should be fine with a bus powered hub. It's when you start hooking up stuff like printers and external drives that rely on bus power that you might start running in to problems. In those cases you would be better suited to connect those types of devices directly to the usb port.
