Quicktime Conversion In Ulead Video Editor 8

Help.... I am new to this Ulead Mediastudio product.

I have lots of video captures in Quicktime format from a Kodak digital still camera. Ultimately I want to edit this into exisitng analogue and digital video footage I also have.

As it is in Quicktime format I am trying to convert it via VE8 ... I select the option from the File menu..... I choose the format I want to output to......... the program goes ahead and converts and saves the output.

When I then try and play the converted file all I get is the first frame from the clip and no audio. This happens to every quicktime clip I try and if I output it in AVI or MPG - makes no difference.

What am I missing?? Help. Thanks.

While it says quicktime, it could well be mjpeg instead of mov format. Use avicodec or g-spot to confirm the actual codec being used. Once this is known, it is uaully easier to find a solution.
