A MDS file is a small meta file that contains description information about the associated ISO.
from http://filext.com/detaillist.php?extdetail=MDSThis file is used by several different programs. It generally is found with an .ISO CD image file and is the equivalent of what a .CUE file is to a .BIN image. IsoBuster can interpret these files directly.
You can just ignore it for what you are doing.
