when i create an image from video_ts folder w/imgburn it creates an .iso file and an .mds file. i am using imgburn to burn the .iso file. what is the .mds file? should i be loading i instead? my dvds seem to play fine. thanks.

A MDS file is a small meta file that contains description information about the associated ISO.
This file is used by several different programs. It generally is found with an .ISO CD image file and is the equivalent of what a .CUE file is to a .BIN image. IsoBuster can interpret these files directly.
You can just ignore it for what you are doing.
