I've been looking for divx player to get best quality out of tv.
I found oppo and samsung divx players.
Which one will give me best quality picture for divx format movies?
I already bought HD860 but it wont let me play divx so i'm returning it soon.
I'm thinking abought 1080p samsung dvd player(HD960) but I really like the oppo's front USB connector(works for external HD ?)

or use my xbox 480p XBMC(divx over wireless)

I suggest you get the Oppo Digital DV-981HD model.

There is no finer DVD player in that price range. To get something better you have to spend like $500 to $1000 whereas the DV-981HD is only $229.00 plus shipping.

What makes the DV-981HD model model by Oppo Digital so amazing? The DCDi by Faroudja chipset. Although please note you need to use the HDMI output to get the full benefits of this DVD player.

The DV-981HD also does DivX and XviD about as well as any other hardware MPEG-4 capable DVD player. It has one of the newest MediaTek chipsets for MPEG-4 which is as good as it gets right now (for the most part).

The Oppo Digital DV-981HD will upconvert DivX and XviD using it's internal scaler.

Please note that your DivX and XviD must comply with standard "Home Theatre" type profiles meaning the resolution must be no more than 720x480 for NTSC or 720x576 for PAL.
