what's the best/fastest/free way to convert from mkv to ogm and still keep both audios (videos are dual audio) and the same exact video/audio quality?
thanks

It's a matter of opinion, really. However, I think OGM development has more or less stopped.
Technologically, as far as I know, MKV is better, but may require more horsepower than OGM to play.If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them? -
mkv is technically superior and is still being developed. Also ogm is basically just a hack of ogg (ogg + VfW/ACM). That said converting would be easy if your mkv uses VfW compatible video. Expect the filesize to increase though since ogm requires more overhead.
If it uses some form of native video, then you are basically looking at a similar procedure to mkv-->avi except you won't need to re-encode the audio if it is vorbis. -

Well the plastic bucket is lighter, etc. Can't think of any thing that makes ogm better than mkv. Suppose it does have some limited hardware support. Also it did come first. Tobias had the first beta out whilst MCF was still just in discussions.
