I know I remove 60 off of the top and bottom of a 1.33:1 image to achieve 1.85:1, but how many do I take off the top and bottom to make a 1.78:1 image? How about 2.35:1 and 1.66:1 as well while I am asking. Thanks.

You could use a aspect calculator like this: http://www.digital-digest.com/dvd/downloads/showsoftware_aspectratio_31.html

Removing 60 pixels from both the top and bottom does make it 1.78:1 when encoded as 16:9.
