I am encoding some file to mkv with DVDFab right now. Some have 2 or 3 audio files which is why I am putting them with mkv. Personally I hate this format and I can't edit with premiere with this files. After I convert my files with mkv, I plan to encode them to another format. Which is a better format to encode it with? Avi?MPG? Other? Also what should I set the audio as because premiere sometimes won't encode the audio or video correctly. It won't read mkv but what is the best format to edit with? Also is there another video format that will hold two channels of audio like mkv does?
