Okay I've read about a hundread guides to doing *almost* what I want to do, but never quite gets the whole job done right. And ended up with a lot of useless software donwloaded.
I have a few MKV and OGM files with soft subs, and I want to convert them to either AVI or some MPEG form with embedded video subs, so I can encode them with PSPvideo9's FFmpeg GUI. Since FFmpeg doesn't support subs, they need to be embedded.
So, can I be helped? I would prefer not to use any trial or payware utilities unless nessesary (because I'm cheap)
I know very little about video encoding/transcoding trickery otherwise...
