I need to 'mic up' a presenter at a show. He is doing a 3 hour presentation that I will be video taping. I need to capture the audio to sync up to pieces of the video later. What is the best way to do this? MP3 audio recorder worn by the subject? What kind of mic should I use? Wireless mic system hooked up to my Powerbook? Both? Help!
I don't want to spend mpre than $150-200 at most on this equipment.
Thanks

Point. Click. Sigh.

If you have access to a good digital camcorder - hook up an external microphone to the speaker, and use the camcorder to capture the speaker's performance live.
Then, take the video you've captured and transfer it to your computer and edit/process/author from there.
I have done this for my son's rock band, and it's much better than hoping a wifi microphone works flawlessly, believe me.
Let me know if you have any questions, and good luck!
Cheers!
