I have two mpeg2 files that are two parts to a movie, when I use TMPGEnc DVD Author to combine them it says that the disk size will be exceeded. There are no menus, only chapter points... How do I make the size smaller so that it will fit on a dvd but not loose quality?

Hi tb582,
The easiest thing to do is to go ahead and author (ignore the error message) then shrink with something like DVD Shrink.
Quality is directly linked to filesize. Reducing the filesize WILL lose quality - you can't get away from that. There is some corner of a foreign field that is forever England: Telstra Stadium, Sydney, 22/11/2003.
Carpe diem.
If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much room.
