Ok I was making some dvd's out of avi's.
I used winavi then nero to burn them. BUT when you
played them in a set top box they would not continue from stop.
Normal dvd's allow you to continue from the place you stop.

SO winavi, tmpgenc and tmpenc Author and everything worked fine.
When you hit stop on a dvd the player would say the dvd would continue from
where it was stopped next time you hit play.

BUT I now have 11 dvd's that won't work, made them before I found out this error.

HOW can I redo these dvd's so I can get them to work?
Convert them back to mpeg then do what I found out would work?
Is there a dvd copy utility that might fix this type of problem or ?????

    I am lost...completly

thanks for any and all help
I sure wasted a lot of time and dvd's learning how to do this correctly.
But that doesn't help on the ones I already have with no originals

ps they are mst3k movies copied from my tapes....man thats a lot of work
anyone in the world got the first 4 episodes

    thanks again

A quick google search came up with this site that might help you:

    http://www.mst3k.org/

I'm afraid I can't help with the rest.

So you are saying that the ones authored with TDA worked correctly, allowing your player to stop and resume from the correct point ?

If so, you can use DVD Decrypter to rip the originals to your HDD, and TDA's Add Video (or Add Movie - can't remember the exact wording) function to load the VOBs from the originals into a new disk. Author, burn and test.

Have you tried creating a new copy using dvdshrink?

Myself I would just use Nero
