  1. Hey, im looking for two tools. One is an over all good tool for joining two movies together. I'm hoping to find one that will allow me to not just join diff. formats together, but also let me see if the audio format is the same and the sound quility. Other then that im also looking for another tool really "user friendly" but professional to create menu's..ext. Thanks for the help in advance.

Nope. To join movies they need to be of the same format, bitrate etc. i.e. you will need to re-encode them unless they are of the same type.

Menu's for a DVD? Try TMPGEncDVDAuthor.

TMPGenc/TMPGenc Plus for encoding ("converting") each file to required format. Will also join mpeg files ( don't recommend you join before encoding due to possible sync issues). For other formats (e.g .avi; IMO VDub is ideal) then look in 'Tools' section

TDA for authoring and menu creation-very "user friendly". Can join files at authoring stage.
