  1. As you can tell from the title I am getting an error w/ nero. I am using version 5.5.5.1. Everytime I try to burn a vcd, no matter what format, what settings I change I always get not enoug memory error. 1. The cdr is brandnew (i have tried different ones) 2. I have 512mb ram 3. I have 15 gig free. I did read the how to and followed it exactly. Here is the picture!

  2. I have the same problem... you guys that have managed to burn VCD's with Nero, how much memory do you got?

  3. since nero 5.5 has a built in encoder it takes in avi files and encodes them to vcd (or svcd) before burning. really thats not the best way to go. your better off encoding to vcd with tmpgenc first then burning hte resulting mpg file. neros encoder is slow and not particularly good

i just did a test with nero and a smaller avi (1 meg) and it encoded it and burned it fine.. im not sure why you get the memory error.. but your better off not messing with nero's encoder anyways.

  4. Yeah that always happens to me but i use tmpgenc to encode my files instead of nero's encoder and when i burn it with nero it works
