Each time I open an .avi file with AutoGK I get the following error message

Cannot open file C:Windows\Temp\agk.tbl The system cannot find the file specified

I am using AutoGK v 2.27 and the agk.tbl file is nowhere on my machine

Because of this no encoding can take place

    Any Ideas anyone ?

    Cheers

If it is looking in your temp dir then I would say that AutoGK generates the file, which would be why you can't find it. Guess it could be a win9x/ME issue.

Is it possible you don't have admin rights on the PC ? It might be preventing the use of the WINDOWS directory.
    If in doubt, Google it.

No such thing as admin rights under 9x/ME as I recall. You could even hit Esc to bypass the login.

I know that was definitely the case with 95/98, but I had a feeling that ME was different. Could be wrong though.
    If in doubt, Google it.
