  1. I've got a project w/ some digirostrum (lumidium) incorporated ... it's a 3d zoom around an image of a poster..poster image is comprised of simple blocks of color along w/ some text and a photo...

when I encode my video for WMV, it looks fine - exactly as expected

however, when I encode to mpeg for DVD, using both procoder and main concept, the digirostrum jitters heavily when the DVD plays...the jitter is *not* in my source AVI (flattened project) nor does it appear in the WMV..just the mpeg

I've encoded both VBR (2pass) with main concept, and CBR with procoder, both at high bit rates (6,000mbps for each) and both at high quality settings..

so, it seems to be something about the digirostrum image that neither encoder likes...

    any suggestions?

    thanks in advance

  3. not sure yet..I'm on the lumidium forum as well & will post anything..all of my source except for the digirostrum was DV but this may be a field order / interlace type of issue or something w/ the avi codec..not sure yet but will play with it & hopefully get something back from lumidium as well...thanks lordsmurf!
