I just reloaded my machine and when I try and burn directly from DVD shrink it does not see Nero and write directly.
ideas???

I had this same problem when I left dvd decrypter open. Shrink will not find nero with this program open. The other solution you can try, if decrypter was not open is to open Nero and make sure that Nero sees your drive as a dvd drive and not a cdr. Every so often, Nero sees my pioneer 105 as a cd writer, I then click on the drive choices and select dvd writer.

I have seen it happen before, you have to install your burning programs, Nero - DVD Decrypter, before instaling DVD Shrink so DVD Shrink will automaticaly see them and use them.
