  1. Hi. To convert from Divix or Xvid to DVD I use Diko with CCE SP and Softencode. I was just trying to convert a dual audio track (english and french) Divx movie to DVD. The video was fine but I got only one track made out of distortion.

I'm not exactly skilled in this area so any detailed help would be greatly appreciated.

Try using Virtualdubmod to strip out both tracks as uncompressed wav files, then encode each seperately using softencode. Add them back in at authoring time.

  3. I imagined that it would have something to do with Virtualdub. Would you happen to know where I could get a step by step guide describing the procedure?

  4. i'd recommend using virtualdubmod as well, except for stripping them out in wav, id just demux them and use them in whatever format they are in...or if absolutely nessacery, convert directly from that format to whatever format you need...no need to decompress to wav..... as for a guide on how to do it, just use the search button or check in guides section......

  5. Here is a link to extracting uncompressed WAV files with VirtualDubMOD. Nice guide easy to follow.
