I have some videos with 2 audio/language tracks in 1 audio stream. Basically the left and right speakers put out different languages. The languages are not selectable in the media players I've tried, the only way to get a single language if I select one speaker option. I tried making a DVD out of these videos and it only shows one audio stream during conversion process. I can't choose a languages in the DVD players I've tried and I don't want to disable one of my TV speakers just to hear it. Is there a way to get rid of one of the unwanted language track?

What format are the original videos in ? AVI ? MPG ? Important for us to know so we can tell you how to demux the audio and split the audio tracks up.

Use VirtualDubMod to extract the audio. Load it into Audacity. Remove the channel you don't want, "Make Stereo" of the remaining, save as mp3 and finally join back with video again using VirtualDubMod and the stream list. (deleting original audio stream).

Sorry I'm stuck on the first comment I've never used Virtual Dub before. I downloaded it and opened up the video file and now what? All the options are alien to me.

Load the AVI, open Stream List under Streams. Select the audio stream, and then the Demux button.
Try reading some help files and documentation - If you're going to ask "What next" for each step, this is going to be a long thread!
