  1. First, I have about 4 mpg videos (one of em in PAL VCD format) that I cannot change anything using tmpgenc.. I get an ilegal decimal point calculation error or sumfin...
    I read that if that error happened, to try and use virtualdub to convert the audio into .wav and try to use only the video source on tmpgenc.. well, that didn't work for any of those 4 mpegs..

    Also, I tried to convert some .mov files to .mpg, but I get no sound.. virtualdub doesn't work with .mov, and total recorder 3 didn't work well, believe me.

    This means you've got bad frames in your mpeg. You'll have to cut the bad ones out and then encode.
