I just made a DVDlab DVD and it turned out there were a few problems:

#1) I had loaded an external subpicture, however it wasn't showing up on the menu. (Figured it out)

#2) When changing buttons (with the arrows on the DVD remote) I was not able to see what text I had selected (I had white text) so I couldn't know what video was going to play.

#3) When I clicked 'Show external subpicture' in the options (I had it unchecked before I burned it) I was not able to see the text as it was blending in with the background. (Figured it out)

#4) When creating the menu I had the text selection cutting close to the edge and when made into a DVD menu it was off center. I got a warning before compiling though that I had both 16:3 and 4:3 and that the first movie's aspect would be used. Does this have anything to do with it?

    Please help!

Edit: Figured two things out, just need help with 2 and 4

#2 check the visibility settings - you may have the normal state set to invisible. It is in the menu on the right.

#4 What aspect ratio did you design the menu for ? What settings have you used in your project settings ?
