After questioning rather to go with internal dl hp or benq, and thanks to your response I was all set to go with the benq 1625 lightscribe. My son, who has also been asking around, told me that he's heard good things about the internal dual layer LG 16x (I think there's only one DL - GSA-4163B). Okay has anyone had any experience with the the LG. I know it's not a lightscribe (but my son thinks that's just a gimmick anyways and that I should go with the best DL) What do you think Benq 1625 or internal LG? And with this info ..I'm buying one! Thanks for your suggestions/recommendations

If you want recommendations check out the LG & BENQ FORUM site at CDFREAKS.COM. If you don't want the lightscribe feature then I would suggest you get a BENQ 1640 drive which is the latest drive from BENQ.

If you need to use RAM media, then go for LG.
