dvd rebuilder and cce help

i'm using v1.00 rc5.1 and cce 2.70 if it helps.

1. does using avisynth filtering make the quality alot better? if yes is there a guide that shows how to use it?
2. what should my VBR Bias and Quality Prec #'s be?
3. do i need to choose multipass vbr or 1st pass of vbr and choose my bitrate in cce or will choosing vbr passes 2 in rebuilder get me 3 passes (vaf and 2 pass vbr) and take care of the bitrate?
