    "Error:Error"

Will it transfer the other way?

What is the file you are sending? Its origins and codec.

Are you sure the file is DV format?

    Just did a test here.
    1. From WinDV capture a 10sec clip as Type 2 from camcorder.
    2. Imported clip added a title overlay in VS8 and then encoded to default DV format
    3. WinDV recorded the resulting file back to camcorder.
    4. It worked perfectly.

I was using a SONY DCR TRV-103 Digital8 (NTSC) for this test but it has worked for me using a PD-150 and a VX-2000 as well.

In the past I've routinely converted MPeg2 and other formats to DV for playback off the DV camcorders and never had a problem using Vegas, Premiere or ULead.
