I tried to convert an avi file to dvd using winavi to dvd, the process stopped on 99%. I now have four vob files and 1 file with the extension .nav. I'm guessing this file would have been the last to be created. The vob files play on their own using nero showtime but only one at a time. I want the movie to play on my standalone so do i have to somehow repair the .nav file before i burn to dvd. Any help would be much appreciated.
    Peace.

EDIT: The fourth vob fille only has partial sound at the beginning.

I would start again. First, I would use DivxFix or virtualdub to scan for bad frames. Generally, if a process stops short of the end it is because of corruption or bad data in the file. Once you have a clean avi, try encoding it again.

What does this suggest to you? I think the avi must be corrupt so i will try divxfix.
