    Hi All,

I have been given a set of VOBs from a memory stick that I wish to burn onto a DVD but unsure what I need to use to burn already created VOB files and allow the DVD to auto play.

Ay help will be greatly appreciated - thanks in advance.

demux the vobs to m2v/audio (ac3, wav, mp2), drop them in to TDA, set chapters, no menu, output to files, create iso with imgtool classic, burn with dvd decrytper.

If all the VOBs, BUPs and IFOs are there, (Check 'What is DVD' to the top left for the DVD structure <<<) just drop them into a burning program that can do DVD video. I use Nero and select 'DVD-Video' and put them into the 'VIDEO_TS' folder then burn. If you don't have the complete set, it gets a little more complicated.

An easier would be to open ifoedit/create ifo's and load the first vob and it will create all the necessary files to be burned as dvd that will autostart,if you need a menu then you can add dvd-video to tda.
    I think,therefore i am a hamster.

Forgive me if you've already answered the question I'm about to ask, but what VOB file do you start with? Here's my situation. These are the files I have in the folder:

    VIDEO_TS.BUP
    VIDEO_TS.IFO
    VIDEO_TS.VOB
    VTS_01_0.BUP
    VTS_01_0.IFO
    VTS_01_1.VOB
    VTS_01_2.VOB
    VTS_01_3.VOB
    VTS_01_4.VOB
    VTS_01_5.VOB
    VTS_01_6.VOB
    VTS_01_7.VOB
    VTS_02_0.BUP
    VTS_02_0.IFO
    VTS_02_1.VOB

The program I use to create DVDs is Nero Vision Express 2 version 2.1.2.18. I'm a bit confused as I've never really dealt with a VOB file(s) before. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Echodek, not sure what you are asking. It appears you have a full set.

This next is from 'What is' DVD on the left:

    DVD File/Folder Structure

    Explanation:

. BUP = Backup files of the IFO files.

. IFO = The IFO files includes information such as chapters, subtitle tracks and audio tracks.

. VOB = The VOB files contains the actual video, audio, subtitles and menus.

    In Nero Express:
Click on DVD-Video Files, then the VIDEO_TS folder, then add. Go to the folder that has your files, select all of them, click add, then next and finally burn.
