Hi tam30over. Does the progress indicator stop at 75%? Have you checked to see that you have the correct amount of BUP, IFO and VOB files in your VIDEO_TS folder? There should be twp BUP's, 2 IFO's and the amount of VOB's will vary but add up to the size of the merged mpeg. The reason I ask is because there is a small glitch with svcd2dvd whereby the indicator will not reach 100% even though process is complete.
    Cheers

Sorry mate, I may have misinterprated your prob. Does the burned DVD stop at 75% when you playback on the telly? Have you used the autofit button as well as the merge button? and have you checked "use pulldown" from the settings menu. Another point to bare in mind is whether your file system is FAT32 or NTFS. The max individual file size on a FAT32 formatted system is 4.0GB ( minus 1kb for accuracy ) and therefore a FAT32 formatted system will stop processing when the file reaches 4 gig in size.
    Cheers

my drive is also formatted to ntfs
i didnt use auto fit as it was 1 film (svcd) i put onto dvd which was about 1.5 gig only.
i also checked the video ts folder and it has all that you say in it

  8. Have you checked the SVCD files on the hard drive before conversion?

Have you checked the S2D created files to see if the movie is all there at that point?

Have you played back the created DVD files on your PC to check before burning?
