    I lost my program, info and other stuff in a hard drive crash and had to reinstall the program. When I open it to use I get a LONG list of errors begining with this:

    file c:\program files/Badger soft/SVCD2DVD/MSVCP71.dll

    HELP and thanks in advance.

    Do you have the file: msvcp71.dll in your system folder? This is usually c:\windows\system32.

    If you do not have msvcp71.dll in your system folder copy it there from the SVCD2DVD folder. Then delete it in the SVCD2DVD folder.

    I do, but it still kept doing the same thing until I deleted the copy in the SVCD folder. Thanks for the heads up!

    ************** JIT Debugging **************
    To enable just in time (JIT) debugging, the config file for this
    application or machine (machine.config) must have the
    jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
    The application must also be compiled with debugging
    enabled.

    For example:

    <configuration>
        <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
    </configuration>

    When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
    will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the machine
    rather than being handled by this dialog.

  14. I'm just shooting into a barrel here, but you might try uninstalling then re-installing .NET framework? Some of the errors it's throwing out seem to indicate that as a possibility
    :P <== no expert, though!

    That worked. I was able to create and burn a dvd without problems. then I closed the program and now i'm getting the same problem and errors and it won't open. am I going to have to reinstall my .net framework every time I want to use this?

  16. sheesh..that *is* weird. Maybe ChrissyBoy can come up with a solution.
    Somtimes NET can get a corrupted file & it hoses up, but I'm not versed in
    how to troubleshoot it.
