Ok..I have been using the above with great success since August 2004. Both have worked really well and I have had no problems..

However since re installed windows and deleted all the clone and decrypt i have experienced a few snags..

Having downloaded the new versions (could not use the original key to the dvd clone that I subscribed to..I have contacted the customer services to find out what the problem is) I have experienced a problem with the new version of trial DVD clone2. Having decrypted the dvd i then go to DVD clone and succesfully read the file but then get a'media error' which does not allow the writing to complete the action.

Whats going on people....it was all going so well until i re installed. Any help that you can give me will be much appreciated as I am tearing my hair out!!
Sometime, I just dont get it!!!

    Just a few suggestions......
Try using latest DVD Decrypter and then DVD Shrink - easy to use with guides on here and then you will find out if your clone DVD install is screwed up.
If you have NERO shrink will/can use it to burn to your disv otherwise you can use decrypter to burn an image.
I have had problems with media errors with CD Clone (not DVD Clone - but I don't use it much) and sometimes it says cannot detect DVD Wirter - if I close down the app then restart it will then find the DVD Writer and burn the image I created fine.
Try checking all the usual stuff like...use good quality media (have you changed your media or to a new batch recently) also I have had problems a few times with erasing DVD RWs before burn coming up with errors, so try and use a pre-formatted (ERASE with NERO) DVD RW before burn if you want to use a re-useable disc.
Make sure DMA is switched on and your ASPI layer is OK (use NERO info tool or forceASPI).
Also uninstall any progs that may be causing a conflict such as old versions of AnyDVD, DVD43 etc.
Problems like this are often a trial and error approach.
Also vcan you burn normal data CDs and DVDs with your burner - check this to make sure your burner is OK.
    Regards
    Ken
