Is RiData 4x DVD+RW(or -RW) good for most burners. Both Meritline and Amazon have mail-in rebates on them.

Like a lot of media, some burners love em, some hate em.
The +RW don't work well on my Artec standalone recorder - too many errors. Mitsumi branded Infodisc work best in it - they usually burn with no errors. I've been meaning to try the Ridata in my DVD Writer (a Lite-On) but I haven't got around to it. Just a note - Verbatim +RW (which are first rate) don't work well in my Artec either.
My best advice - buy one or two before you buy a cake of 25. Most retailers sell them for about $1.25 to $1.50 if you buy just one. -
The Ritek 4x +RW i have been getting has been the Ricohjpnw11 media code which gets a good rating from me. You can check in the media guide for more opinions.
