  1. Ive got a simple DVD made - one menu, with the words "press to test" on. When you click it, it links to a movie thats 1m43s long with a 5.1 DTS track. After it plays, it goes back to the aforementioned menu.

However, I click on compile and get the following error:

This is the first error of this kind (or indeed any error) Ive had using DVDLP. Any ideas anyone? :S Im doing nothing different.

Is the DTS track the first audio track ? Try creating an empty AC3 file and placing this in the first track, with the DTS in the second. The spec says DTS can't be first.

  3. Funny, I tried a 30-sec video with just a DTS track and it worked fine now. Strange...

Love those types of errors. Easy to find the cause of (*NOT*). However you should still have an AC3 audio track int he first stream for maximum compatability, even if it can't be accessed.

  5. Lol. Ive burned a 12 min DVD now with both AC3 and DTS tracks and it worked fine. Thanks anyway, Gun.

BTW, where does DVD spec state that DTS cant be first track? Just wondering.
