Been using DVDShrink for probably about 12 months now with no problems whatsoever. My PC DVD-ROM is region free at firmware and hasn't changed. However, the last 2 DVD's I've tried, DVD Shrink (I think) has popped a dialogue box about the region and asked whether I want to change the region - and I have 1 change left. DVDInfoPro confirms that I have a region free drive and no of changes is shown as N/A. In both cases I haven't proceeded, but used DVDDecrypter first - however, it's irritating me that it always used to work and now doesn't. Any ideas? Thanks

Download DVD REGION KILLER, your operating system must be region free as well. Here is the download and use MIRROR 3 to download the program.

That seems to work in a quick test with one of the DVD's. However, my system hasn't changed (I'm not quite sure when I went XP SP2) so I'm unsure why this is suddenly necessary?

    Hi,
My computer has the same problem. It only allows a certain amount of region changes to the DVD-Rom or RW... mine only has 3 region changes allowed.. if it changes too many times... it might have problems changing back even if you format the drive. I am not sure if this is the problem.. but if it is.. than there is nothing you can do to fix it.. even formatting your computer can't fix it.

your operating systems have to be fooled by using DVD REGION KILLER. it has nothing to do with SP2 cuz I use SP2 on this pc and have no problems. Download the program and your troubles will be over.
