Folks,
I have only just started on this road of playing with DVD copying etc.
I have a external USB LG 4161 using DVDf3free for de-cryption and dvdwizard pro, 1clickdvdcopy for s/w.
ok have managed to copy a DVD and burn it on to disk - as a back up copy of course![]()
The LG though only seems to be reading at <2x speed and took over 4 hours to copy a DVD.
I've checked in the hardware setting and alt IDE DMA channel is set correctly (not pio).
I've read that it may be locked in "quiet mode" and that I nead a patch to be able to fix this.
Any ideas on this? Or am I just doing something very basicaly wrong?
appreciate any assistance.
cheers
Peter
