denon dvd 900 used to read my discs!

my denon dvd 900 used to read my store bought discs, mostly concerts, now when i load one it takes a long time to do anything then comes up "disc error playback feature unavailable". these are not burnt discs. if i unplug the player, wait a while then plug back in, it will read it the next time. any ideas?

I may have found the problem? In talking to denon service they mentioned heat could be an issue. I took the cover off the player and mounted a small 8" fan to blow down on the player. It worked loading about 10 discs in a row without problem. Don't know if this can help somebody else but it seems to be working again for me.
