  1. Can anyone tell me why, when I use Nero Express 2 and I drag the contents of a TS_Video folder to the program, that it burns the DVD just fine...menus work, video plays, etc.....but there is NO AUDIO. it's maddening. I burned successful DVDs with the SAME TS_Video files usings Nero 6 when I had the trial version, but when it expired, I had to use what was bundled with my drive (Express 2).

Is there something simple that I'm not doing?

Thanks in advance for your help...

  3. canadateck - not sure what you mean by your question. It's a musical performance. Is that what you mean?

OR are you asking what kind of files am I trying to burn? In that case, they are VOB, IFO and BUP files.

And I want to correct myself, I meant VIDEO_TS folder when I posted originally, not TS_VIDEO.

    thanks....

  4. I mean Is it AC3 ,PCM, Dolby Digital, DTS ,MPEG . because some players have problems with some Audio. Does the DVD play with sound on the computer? Some NTSC Players have a hard time Playing MPEG audio.

  5. No, it won't play on a standalone or on the computer. I don't know what type of file it is. The reason is I downloaded the entire VIDEO_TS folder from a BitTorrent site. (this is legal material btw) When I had the full trial version of Nero, I simply dragged all of the files in the VIDEO_TS folder over to Burning ROM and it burned a DVD just fine that played on my computer and a standalone. Now that I no longer have the trial verison of Nero, I'm stuck with Nero Express 2. I drag the same files to Express 2 and all I get is a video-only DVD. no audio. If this helps, here's the list of the files in the VIDEO_TS folder:

    VIDEO_TS.BUP
    VTS_01_0.BUP
    VIDEO_TS.IFO
    VTS_01_0.IFO
    VTS_01_0.VOB
    VTS_01_1.VOB
    VTS_01_2.VOB

correct me if i'm wrong, but I don't think you can tell from these files what type of audio file the audio came from. Am I right?

thanks for helping me on this...

But what you can do is output an Iso with DVDShrink then burn the ISO with DVD Decrypter.
