Just purchased Canon HF20. Uploaded video and pics using supplied software. Burned to DVD+R, DL (6 GBs). DVD played fine on computer where files were uploaded (Windows 7, 64 Bit). DVD will not play in stand-alone DVD players or other Windows computers or even my Windows 7 laptop. I'm reading all about conversion of .mts files and had no idea it was this complicated. (Nothing in Canon manual describes this.) What do I do with my files to burn to DVD so it plays anywhere?

I have no idea what your response meant. It must be much too technical for my brain

Take your .mts files and convert them to an authored DVD format with AVStoDVD. Burn the results to DVD with Imgburn and try playing them.
