Really! What's the point? I still haven't figured out what's going on lately. What's with all the locking of threads? I guess I can understand locking a thread if the originator asks for it, but at the same time, doesn't that make the forum their own private soapbox? "I've said what I wanted to say, now lock this thread since I really don't care about anybody's responses". Example being bazooka's employer rant. What, noone else is allowed to join the discussion or voice their opinion of employers?
What about all the one's that should have been locked and never were? C'mon, just how many "Would you date a...." threads did we need? Ok, fine. If you're going to do it, do it right. Here's a list of good candidates for locking:
NFL 2004 - It's 2005, it's time is past.
Calypso Not My Real Name - We know what your name is now.
I don't give a flip who calypso is. - Now you know. Flip off.
I Can't Bekieve It's 2005 - You've had almost three weeks to get used to it.
Star Wars Sucks - We all know that!
Recipes I Don't Want To Eat - Then you don't need the recipe.
Final T-Shirt Vote - I believe we will see Video Friends Episode 2 the same day as the t-shirts, so....
VideoFriends Episode 2 - Not likely in this lifetime.
So, keeping with the current spirit, I really don't care how anyone else feels about this, and I've had my say, so please feel free to lock this thread too!![]()

In light of an image I posted being pulled down for being "inappropriate", I have to mention that I browsed back to March-April 2004 for OT last night and found some images that would surely be considered bannable offences these days. One that I recall vividly was a bloke's meat n two veg with a tattoo covering the entire tacklebox. If they're getting removed now, should they be removed from all the old posts too ? Browsing back through old posts gives the impression of what is allowable and what isn't IMO.
If in doubt, Google it. -

I'm not starting shit because I can, I genuinely feel a bit aggrieved ...
Cap, I've got a pic (two, in fact, now that I think about it) that I found that make a complete nonsense of everything you just said
Also, I don't recall reading any rules regarding one word or no word posts. I know about them ebcause I was here, but others who are new to the scene may not if it's not in writingIf in doubt, Google it. -

If the post or link breaks the rules, and a mod sees it, it will be pulled. If the poster continues, cards will be issued for it.
Why are you so indignant that that pic was pulled? Did you really think that picture was appropriate here? -

I don't see it in the AUP or Off Topic Rules stickyIf in doubt, Google it. -

Where do you draw the line with the one word or no word posts though?
Sometimes people respond with smileys.
Some of my posts are one worders like when MackemX was wanting confirmation on how many windows I had open and I said yep.
At that rate, I will soon be banned. -
I think he means posts that are a sentence with one word in each post.
His name was MackemX
